What Does This App Do?

Transform a single Portable Document Format (PDF) file into a single lossy Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) file that can be downloaded directly from this site. There are two ways to upload files:

  1. Click on the file box to open the upload dialog window.
  2. Drag files across over the file box.

Time Requirements

The time required to process a PDF into JPG files can be anywhere from a few seconds to a few of minutes depending on the complexity of the input PDF. The more pages to convert, the longer the process will take! To keep this a free service and to not waste resources, please specify only the page numbers you need to be converted.

What Are The Limitations?

The maximum file upload size is 10MB, but there is no limit on the number of pages the PDF can contain. The PDF can be either scanned or exported from another content creator.

What Interpretation Engine Do You Use?

This app uses Ghostscript, a CentOS Linux based interpreter and rendering program, to open the uploaded file and to output to the image.

Is My Data Safe?

All uploads are scanned for malware and shall be automagically deleted after processing has been completed. For peace of mind, users can also manually delete the output files from the server when they're no longer required.
